Paragraph 2 Our band kids are continually improving musically, and our guard students relentlessly refine their performance skills. Our band and guard family is about so much more than that. Students are taught responsibility, time management, work ethic, leadership and how to be proud of their work. They learn about teamwork, collaboration, multi-tasking, and grow to understand the real meaning of discipline, resilience, sacrifice, endurance and commitment. Because of summer camp, students start the school year with an existing sense of ‘belonging’ – the camaraderie is second to none! All of these elements build self-confidence, and it is a heartwarming privilege to see each of our students flourish into young adults over their time in our program.
